Financial Review: Site Visit will be conducted to gather financial and process information needed to identify possible candidates for process improvement activities.
Process Selection: Based upon collected information and data from the initial site visit, a presentation (findings report) will be created that will be shared with the leadership team showing business processes analyzed and recommended process to be improved using the contractor’s process improvement methodology. To the extent possible, a model will be created that would allow the user to alter financial outcomes given process levers to help define potential impact from process improvements.
Value Stream Map: A current state and Future State map will be electronically documented. The construction of each map will be the joint responsibility of the client and the contractor. All materials needed to complete the map will be provided by the contractor.
Opportunity Analysis: A report analyzing each problem and potential opportunity will provided. The information will provide a description of the problem, solution opportunity (the what), impact assessment and derivation, difficulty assessment and basis, solution size and methodology used.

Package A Deliverables Plus:
Solution Development: A data table detailing the “Kaizen Opportunities” and potential solutions considered will be constructed. Potential solutions (the how) will be reviewed ranked.
Project Selection: A 3-axis diagram will be provided that articulates impact versus difficulty as well as potential size of the solution ($, resources needed). The selected projects will be clearly articulated as well as those not making the cut and the appropriate rationale defined.
Project Set-up and Scope: A LEAN A3 type template will be completed for each prioritized kaizen event. The scope of the project will be detailed including team members needed, potential risks, potential mitigating solutions.
Project Map & Execution Tracker: A Kaizen implementation schedule and tracker will be provided detailing the order of completion, resources required, potential funding needed, and potential business impact. The map will define timing for pre-work completion requirements, kaizen timing, action item completion, and solution implementation.

Package A & B Deliverables Plus:
Kaizen Consultation: A pre-work presentation that includes the project definition, problem statement, and scope of work will be completed for each Kaizen defined by the Project Map. The pre-work will also include the team charter and final report-out templates.
Make IT Stick Solution: A post-Kaizen action item tracker will be provided that will show items needed to close-out each Kaizen event. In addition, an IT solutions list will be maintained that provides a scope of work statement, estimated solution cost, estimated solution timing, and potential benefits gained if the IT solution is implemented.
Project Closure: A summary report of all Kaizen activities – processes revised, steps eliminated, benefits gained, and potential financial results determined. In addition, the report will identify potential next steps and future possibilities. The final report will be a presentation format.
Value Stream Map Update: Updated current state Value Stream Map to account for the implemented Kaizen changes. Based upon the new functionality, new process problems and any unresolved problems remaining will be documented in a data table so that proper project scopes can be created.
